Who is sweatgod?

sweatgod is a Minecraft PvP streamer and YouTuber. His Twitch About panel calls him a "Chill Cool Guy," gives his name as Ryan, and ends with a line that undersells the whole operation: "I like to play minecraft."

Twitch's own channel page showed 40.8K followers on October 6, 2026, and TwitchMetrics listed 40,636 the same day. He is a Twitch Partner, and his X bio reads "Twitch & Lunar Client Partner." Over the last 30 days, TwitchMetrics ranked him #56 among all Minecraft channels on Twitch and #30 among English-language Minecraft channels.

That evening the channel page had him live in the Minecraft category with 207 viewers, close to three hours into a broadcast titled "PVP CHAMPS TRAINING," "NEW VIDEO IS OUT (!NEWVID)" and "LIVE EVERYDAY." His stream tags include uhc, hypixel, pvp, minecraft, mcpvp, battleroyale and moneysmp, which tells you most of what the channel is: Minecraft PvP in its different formats, plus the big community server events.

Here is the quick version for anyone arriving cold. He has streamed on Twitch since 2016, he has 87.5K subscribers on YouTube, and in late August 2026 he was on the team that won Money SMP Rookies.

How he started streaming

The dates tell most of this part. TwitchTracker lists his Twitch account as created on May 18, 2016, and TwitchMetrics gives the same day as the start of his streaming on the platform. His X account followed in July 2017, and it now has 5,906 followers.

YouTube is the bigger audience. His channel at youtube.com/@sweatgod has 87.5K subscribers and 235 videos, and the channel description carries a plain request: "Subscribe before 90k!!!"

In 2024 he became an official Lunar Client creator partner. Lunar Client's store lists him as an Official Partner since 2024 and sells twelve sweatgod packages: Sweat Ninja in five colors (purple, red, blue, grey and pink), sweatgod Dual Katanas, sweatgod Stars, Sweat Cross Stars, Sweat Face in white and pink, and Mocha Bear in white and brown.

The !lunar chat command shows up in every title on TwitchMetrics's recent-streams list, sitting right beside !discord and !newvid.

What he streams now

Minecraft, and almost always the competitive side of it. The tags on his live channel say uhc, hypixel, pvp, mcpvp and battleroyale, and his YouTube titles line up with them: PvP coaching, tier testing, ranked-player breakdowns, and pros against fakes.

TwitchMetrics's 30-day numbers as of October 6 show 123 hours streamed, 47,055 hours watched, 381 average viewers and a peak of 5,471. TwitchTracker's summary for the channel listed 3,031 followers gained, the same 5,471-viewer peak, and a rank of 5,304th on Twitch overall, in the top 0.09 percent.

His About panel lists the rig he plays on: an i9-10900K, an RTX 3080 Ti, 32GB of DDR4, a Lamzu Maya X mouse, a Wooting 80HE keyboard, a HyperX Cloud Alpha headset, a Shure MV7+ microphone, and an Asus VG259QM monitor next to an Acer KA240HQ.

Between August 24 and September 13, TwitchMetrics lists 15 streams, running from a five-hour practice session to a stream that lasted a full day.

Money SMP Rookies and the Red Jokers

Money SMP is a Minecraft server where teams chase a real-life cash prize by completing events, raiding each other's bases and eliminating opposing players. The Money SMP wiki says Rookies ran from August 26 to 30, 2026, with six teams of six players, and that the admins chose the teams ahead of time and revealed them live to most players.

sweatgod was on the Red Jokers with Mino__, Woocie, Evourai, Kunzy and schpood, and the wiki's roster puts him in its S-tier slot. His channel shows the prep. On August 24 he streamed for five hours under the title "MONEY SMP ROOKIES RED TEAM PRACTICE," "VOD REVIEWING" and "LEARNING," at 231 average viewers and a 290 peak.

Once Rookies started, his titles became "MONEY SMP ROOKIES," "LIVE 24/7" and "#ROOTFORRED." TwitchMetrics lists a 23-hour stream starting August 28, a stream that lasted a full day on the 29th, and a 20-hour stream on the 30th. The peaks climbed from 729 to 823 to 1,131 viewers.

The Red Jokers won. The wiki's final standings show Red Jokers at $2,054, ahead of Yellow Spades at $1,916, Purple Aces at $1,507, Pink Hearts at $1,195, Green Clubs at $973 and Blue Diamonds at $880. Money SMP's own X account posted its congratulations to the Red Jokers on August 30 and tagged sweatg0d along with the rest of the team.

Individually, the wiki lists sweatgod with 10 kills, 5 deaths and 2 days 3 hours of playtime, good for $459 and second place in its individual standings, behind PikaTM at $684.

Strength Trials in September

Five days after Rookies ended, he was on another server. According to the Strength SMP wiki, Strength Trials was a two-week trial server held between Season 4 and Season 5 of Strength SMP, from September 4 to September 20, 2026, with Falconu and Shandrea listed as owners. The wiki splits the server into Strength members and trial members, and sweatgod is on the trial list.

He opened with an eight-hour stream on September 4 titled "MYTHIC SMP RELEASE w/ VIEWERS" and "STRENGTH TRIALS LATER," and then the Trials took over his titles. "STRENGTH TRIALS DAY 2" on September 5 ran seven hours at 395 average viewers. "STRENGTH TRIALS THE VAULT OPENS (DAY 3)" followed on the 6th, then "KING OF STRENGTH TRIALS" on the 9th, "STRENGTH TRIALS ANARCHY EVENT" on the 12th and "STRENGTH TRIALS END FIGHT" on the 13th.

The 9th was his highest average on that whole list: six hours, 505 average viewers and an 857 peak. The Trials also made it onto YouTube, where his newest upload on October 6, Bounty Hunter vs Strength SMP, was about three days old and already at 371K views.

His YouTube videos

The YouTube channel is where the big view counts are. As shown on the channel on October 6, the recent uploads read like a list of arguments Minecraft players have in voice chat.

Which Country has the BEST Minecraft Player? runs 57 minutes and had 822K views at about two weeks old. 5 Minecraft Youtubers vs 1 Fake had 551K at about a month, and 5 Minecraft Pros vs 1 Fake had 420K at about three months. I Went Undercover To Destroy Minecraft Streamers sat at 296K, and I Fought Minecraft's Retired Pros at 160K.

The newest Players vs The Rank They Think They Deserve, about two months old, is the biggest of the recent batch at 966K views. An earlier video with the same title, from about four months ago, sits at 441K. Further back, I Hired a Minecraft PvP Coach, Then Destroyed Him had 261K views, How Good is Your Favorite Minecraft Youtuber? had 201K, and the 66-minute I Tier Tested in Every SubTiers PvP Gamemode had 74K.

Why fans watch

Viewers keep showing up for the Minecraft PvP sweatgod plays in the open: server events with teams and prize money, tryout servers like Strength Trials, and practice sessions where he goes back over his own VODs.

On the August 24 to September 13 list, his average audience ran from 231 to 505 viewers, with a high peak of 1,131 on the last day of Rookies. The 5,471-viewer peak in TwitchMetrics's 30-day window is far above anything on that list, so a much bigger night happened outside it.

His titles hand chat its commands up front: !discord, !newvid and !lunar, plus !trials during the Strength Trials run. The About panel links his Discord server, YouTube, X and TikTok, and it keeps the hardware list in plain view for anyone who wants to know what he is playing on.
