Who is Sarah Farrugia?

Sarah Farrugia is a Toronto-based creator who streams IRL and Just Chatting on Twitch as SarahFarrugia, with about 23,600 followers there as of October 2026. Her bio on the channel describes the stream as "IRL Speed Dates & Side Quests," and she also has about 88,600 followers on Instagram and about 324,500 on TikTok.

Her Twitch audience grew mostly during summer 2026. She was one of the student-streamers at Kai Cenat's Streamer University 2026 at Hendrix College in Arkansas, then streamed the whole of Streamer Prom in Houston, and in August she was one of several women Drake gave a reported $100,000 CAD at an event in Toronto.

How did Sarah Farrugia start streaming?

Sarah lives in Toronto and, according to CBC reporting summarized by Primetimer in June 2026, had been making content across different platforms for almost ten years by then. Instagram and TikTok came first. Her TikTok account carries about 35.4 million likes in total.

Twitch came later and it is where she now does most of her live work. She told CBC that streaming appeals to her because she can talk with viewers in real time, without edits or cuts.

Her link page points to a separate YouTube channel, Sarah Farrugia Vods, which holds uncut recordings of her streams, and to shopping pages for her Amazon and LTK picks. Her Twitch panels also feature stylist-assisted wardrobe streams, including a fall lookbook stream with the stylist Vic.

Streamer University 2026

When Kai Cenat announced the second Streamer University, Sarah was among the first people to apply, CBC reported on June 29, 2026. She said she had never attended college or university and hoped the program would give her some of that experience, along with the chance to meet people and learn about the streaming business. She posted her application video on Instagram.

She was accepted to the Class of 2026, and her Instagram bio now reads "streamer SU 26." The event ran at Hendrix College in Arkansas with more than a hundred student-streamers, and Sportskeeda reports she collaborated there with BenDaDonnn and Jasontheween, among others.

Her Twitch vod list from that stretch includes a Streamer University sleepover stream, and her vod channel on YouTube carries multi-hour uploads titled "A Day in the Life at Streamer University."

Streamer Prom in Houston and the Drake dinner

Streamer Prom's second edition was held on August 13, 2026 at the Imperio Ballroom in the Houston area. Sarah streamed the entire night on Twitch, and her TikTok from the road tells followers she is going live from arrival, with the streamers Mookie and Kailee tagged. The days around it became their own streams: dress shopping, a first day in Houston with bowling, a get-ready-with-me, and a prom recap back in Toronto.

Earlier in August, on August 4, she streamed a Twitch broadcast titled "COURTSIDE FOR SHOOTING STARS X OVO GAME." Afterward she went to Drake's "Strong Women, Stronger Drinks" event in Toronto, where, Sportskeeda reports, he called several women up and said he would give each of them $100,000 CAD toward their work. She covered her mouth in shock and hugged him.
